A 5-day Philippines trip from Nepal, staying in Manila, costs about NRs 1,12,000 to 1,61,000 per person. A 7-day Manila and Boracay trip costs about NRs 1,36,000 to 2,03,000 per person, because it adds a domestic flight, Boracay's arrival fees and an island-hopping day. These totals are Gomayu's estimates, built from a Kathmandu to Manila return fare of about NRs 85,000 to 1,06,000, a 3 or 4-star room shared by two, sightseeing and pocket money. Nepali passport holders need no tourist visa for stays of up to 30 days, so there is no visa line to add.
Prices checked: 1 Oct 2026. Gomayu's Philippines packages are priced on request, so nothing here is our package price. Exchange rate: Nepal Rastra Bank's selling rate on 1 Oct 2026 was 1 US dollar = NRs 153.64. Nepal Rastra Bank does not publish a peso rate, so we converted through the dollar at Wise's mid-market rate of about PHP 62.76 per US dollar on 1 Oct 2026, which gives 1 Philippine peso (PHP) = about NRs 2.45. Fares and hotel rates change daily, so treat every range as a guide, not a quote.

How much is a flight from Kathmandu to Manila?
A return economy ticket from Kathmandu to Manila costs about NRs 85,000 to 1,06,000 for most dates. On 1 Oct 2026, KAYAK's route page showed typical return fares of US$552 to US$689 (about NRs 84,809 to 1,05,858), and Thai Airways' own Kathmandu to Manila page showed return economy fares from NRs 87,964 for December 2026.
- No direct flights: every route has one stop. In KAYAK's data Bangkok (Thai Airways) is the most used connection; Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Delhi are other options.
- Journey time: about 8 to 13 hours, depending on the layover.
- Cheaper months: KAYAK's data shows March as the lowest-fare month on this route and May as the most expensive.
- Connections: book the whole journey on one ticket. If you split tickets, check the transit rules for Nepali passports first.
Fares change daily, and Dashain, Tihar and winter holiday seats go first. Ask us to add the current fare to your quote.
Do Nepali citizens need a visa for the Philippines?
No. Nepali passport holders can enter the Philippines without a visa for tourism stays of up to 30 days. Nepal is on the Department of Foreign Affairs list of countries whose nationals may enter visa-free for 30 days under Executive Order 408, and the Philippine eVisa site's policy page lists Nepal the same way. Entry is at the immigration officer's discretion, so carry your documents.
- eTravel: every traveller must register at etravel.gov.ph within 72 hours before arrival, and again within 72 hours before the flight home. The official site charges nothing; ignore any website that asks for payment.
- Documents to carry: passport valid at least 6 months beyond your stay with 2 blank pages, a return or onward ticket, hotel bookings for the whole stay and proof of sufficient funds.
- Longer stays: the 30 days can be extended at a Bureau of Immigration office inside the Philippines. Work or study needs a proper visa from a Philippine embassy before you travel.

How much do domestic flights and island fees cost in the Philippines?

|---|---|---|
| Manila to Caticlan (Boracay), return flight | US$59 to 96 | 9,065 to 14,749 |

Is 1 lakh enough for a Philippines trip from Nepal?
No. NRs 1 lakh is not enough for the Philippines from Nepal, because the return flight to Manila alone is about NRs 85,000 or more. Add four nights in a shared room (from about NRs 12,292), a SIM and simple meals, and even a 5-day Manila trip starts at about NRs 1,12,000.
A realistic budget is about NRs 1,12,000 to 1,61,000 per person for 5 days in Manila, and about NRs 1,36,000 to 2,03,000 for a week that includes Boracay. At Dashain or Tihar, plan for the upper end.
What is the price of a 7-day Philippines trip from Nepal, including flights?
A 7-day Philippines trip from Nepal including flights costs about NRs 1,36,000 to 2,03,000 per person by our estimate for Manila and Boracay. That covers the Kathmandu flight, a Manila to Caticlan return flight, Boracay's arrival fees, six nights in a shared 3 or 4-star room, an Intramuros walk, island hopping and seven days of pocket money, as shown in the first table. Our 7-day Manila & Boracay Tour is priced on request, so message us on WhatsApp for one price with the flights included.
How can you spend less on a Philippines trip from Nepal?
- Book the Kathmandu flight early. It is more than half the cost of the trip.
- Pick your month. In KAYAK's data, Kathmandu to Manila fares were lowest in March. The dry months are kinder for islands; October and November can still bring typhoons. See the best time to visit the Philippines.
- Limit the islands. Each extra island adds a domestic flight or ferry, port fees and a transfer day. One island plus Manila is the best value for a week.
- Pack light for domestic flights. Low fares often exclude checked bags.
- Travel as a family or group. Sharing rooms, boats and transfers cuts the per-person cost.
What does the Gomayu price include and exclude?
On our Philippines tours, the price includes airport pickup and drop, 3 or 4-star hotel accommodation, the meals named in the itinerary, all transfers in the itinerary, a driver-cum-guide, and entry fees for the listed sights.
It excludes international and domestic flights, travel and medical insurance, drinks and personal expenses, optional activities not in the itinerary, and tips for guides and drivers. Nepali passport holders need no tourist visa for up to 30 days, but tell us if you plan a longer stay.
Flying from abroad? If you are a Nepali living in the Gulf, Malaysia, Japan, Korea or Australia, your flight cost will differ from a Kathmandu fare and is often lower from East Asian hubs; tell us your departure city. If you travel on a non-Nepali passport, check the Philippine entry rules for that passport.
