It depends on what your children enjoy. Singapore suits theme-park families, with Universal Studios, Sentosa and Gardens by the Bay. Bangkok has Dream World with its Snow Town, Sea Life Ocean World and Safari World. Kuala Lumpur combines Sunway Lagoon, the Petronas Towers, Batu Caves and the Genting cable car. Bali adds Waterbom and the Bali Safari & Marine Park. Vietnam is a longer trip, with Ha Long Bay and Phu Quoc.
Single-city trips with plenty of rest are easiest. Our Singapore, Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur family tours stay in one city, and grandparents can sit out any part of a day, such as the 272 steps at Batu Caves. Longer routes with internal flights, such as Vietnam, suit families who are comfortable moving hotels. Tell us about walking ability, wheelchairs or diet, and we adjust the plan.
For a first family trip, five days in one city is usually enough: one day to arrive, three days of sightseeing and theme parks, and one day to fly home. Our Singapore, Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur family trips follow that shape. With ten days you can cover more than one region, as the Vietnam Family Tour does from Hanoi to Phu Quoc and Ho Chi Minh City.
The Dashain and Tihar break and the gap between school years in spring are the usual family travel windows. Singapore and Kuala Lumpur are warm and humid all year, with rain possible any month, so they work for either break. Bangkok is most comfortable from November to February. Bali is driest from around April to October. These holidays are busy, so ask for a quote early.
Send your travel dates, the number of adults, each child’s age and whether grandparents are joining. Children’s ages affect room set-up, extra beds and attraction tickets. Tell us how many rooms you want, any food needs such as vegetarian meals, and any mobility needs. Every package page shows a price for each group size, and we confirm the final rate for your family in writing.
Yes. Our family packages start and end at the destination airport, so relatives flying from Kathmandu and from abroad, for example the Gulf, Australia or the UK, can meet at the first hotel. Send everyone’s flight times and we plan airport pickups around them. Flights are not included in the packages, but our team can ticket them. Visa steps depend on each passport, and our visa team can help.
