Phuket is the biggest and busiest, with the most choice of beaches, restaurants and nightlife, and speedboat days to Phi Phi and Phang Nga Bay. Krabi is quieter, known for limestone cliffs, Railay and the Four Islands boat trip. Koh Samui, on the Gulf of Thailand, has a resort-island feel and day trips to Ang Thong Marine Park. Two of them can also be combined on one trip.

Add Bangkok if you want temples, shopping and an evening dinner cruise on the Chao Phraya River, as the Bangkok & Koh Samui Honeymoon Tour does. Skip it if you want every day by the sea, and choose an island-based package such as the Phuket Tour or Krabi Island Tour instead. With six days or fewer, staying on the islands usually feels less rushed than adding a city.

Koh Samui is in its rainiest stretch at that time, roughly October to December, so for a Mangsir honeymoon Phuket and Krabi are the safer choice. Samui suits a wedding between Magh and Asar better.

Between them are free days and beach time. If either of you gets seasick or does not swim, tell us before booking and we can suggest gentler days, as most tours can be adjusted.
