ā€œIt was our best decision to choose Gomayu. We had a wonderful experience with GOMAYU during our Thailand trip. Hotels, Location and itinerary all were well planned and was according to our expectations. Response and communication was very good in Thailand as well. You made our trip very smooth, hassle free and stress free from begning to the end of our trip. This trip was memorable, as me and my husband got to celebrate our 20th wedding Anniversary together in the beautiful place of Thailand and credit goes to GOMAYU for all the arrangements . We are very much satisfied with your service and hope to have other trips with you soon. I would happily Recommend GOMAYU to my friends and family for their excellent service and professional support.ā€

ā€œWe had an unforgettable 5D4N trip to Bali with Gomayu Holidays! From the very beginning, the communication was smooth, clear, and professional. Everything was perfectly organized; airport pickup, hotel check-ins, and daily tours were always on time, with no stress at all. Our stay was split between a beautiful private pool villa in Seminyak and a comfortable room at Grand Mega Resort, both of which exceeded expectations. The itinerary was well-balanced with adventure, culture, and relaxation. We really enjoyed the watersports (banana boat, jet ski, parasailing), the stunning Uluwatu Temple with Kecak dance, and the romantic candlelight dinner at Jimbaran Beach. The Bali swing and tandem ATV ride were absolute highlights and so much fun! Visiting Lempuyang Temple (Gate of Heaven) was magical and very well arranged despite the crowds. We had some spare time to visit the malls and try local food as well. Special thanks to the guide and driver, who was friendly, helpful, super-flexible and always made sure we were comfortable. We didn’t have to worry about anything as everything was well-organized. Highly recommended for anyone planning a hassle-free and memorable Bali trip. Thank you, Gomayu Holidays, for making our holiday truly special!ā€

A Trip Built Around Ba Na Hills

Most Da Nang itineraries treat Ba Na Hills as a single day trip. This one is different: it includes an actual overnight stay at the mountain resort itself, at the Mercure Danang French Village, giving travelers a full day and two half-days there rather than rushing through on a single tour bus schedule. That extra time matters given how much ground Ba Na Hills covers, from the Golden Bridge to the French Village and its gardens.

Arriving in Da Nang

Da Nang International Airport (DAD) is the arrival and departure point for this trip. With nothing scheduled on Day 1 beyond check-in, travelers have room to recover from the flight and get an early, informal look at Da Nang before heading up to the mountains the next morning.

Ba Na Hills: Cable Car, Golden Bridge, and French Village

Day 2 covers the transfer up to Ba Na Hills, reached by one of the world's longest single-track cable car systems, which itself is a notable part of the experience given the scenic ride over jungle-covered slopes. Checking in to the Mercure Danang French Village Ba Na Hills, styled after a European mountain village, gives travelers a genuinely different overnight setting from typical coastal Da Nang hotels, with noticeably cooler mountain air compared to the city below.

Day 3 is left as a full day at Ba Na Hills, built around its best-known landmark: the Golden Bridge, a 150-metre pedestrian bridge designed to appear held aloft by two giant stone hands, offering sweeping views over the surrounding mountains and coastline. Beyond the bridge, the resort's French Village replica, landscaped gardens, and other attractions fill out a full day comfortably, with lunch included on-site so the day doesn't require a return to the valley.

Marble Mountains and Hoi An

Day 4 combines the return journey to Da Nang with two additional stops. The Marble Mountains, a cluster of five marble and limestone hills each named for one of the five elements, offer cave temples and viewpoints worth a stop en route. From there, the day continues to Hoi An, a UNESCO-listed ancient town known for its lantern-lit streets, preserved shophouses, and Japanese Covered Bridge. Visiting in the evening, as this itinerary schedules, times the walk to catch the town's lanterns lit against the dusk, one of Hoi An's most photographed settings.

A Free Day Back in Da Nang

Day 5 gives travelers a choice between relaxing at My Khe Beach, regularly ranked among Vietnam's best beaches, or visiting the Dragon Bridge, known for its weekend fire and water-breathing shows. For those wanting a more active day, an optional excursion to Cham Island offers snorkeling and a quieter island setting a short boat ride from the mainland.

Getting Home

The trip closes with a straightforward checkout and transfer to Da Nang International Airport, since both arrival and departure run through the same airport.

Best Time to Visit

February through May generally offers the most comfortable conditions for this itinerary, particularly given Ba Na Hills' higher elevation, which can bring cooler temperatures and occasional cloud cover year-round. Central Vietnam's rainy season typically runs from September through December, which can affect visibility from the Golden Bridge and cable car.

Practical Notes for Nepali Travelers

Vietnamese Dong (VND) is the local currency, with exchange facilities available in Da Nang. Since Ba Na Hills sits at a significantly higher elevation than Da Nang city, packing a light jacket or layer for the overnight stay is worth doing even in warmer months. Comfortable walking shoes are useful throughout, particularly for the Marble Mountains' cave and viewpoint climbs on Day 4.

Plan your Vietnam trip from Nepal

Before you book, Nepali and NRN travellers should review the Vietnam visa for Nepali citizens. For planning, read the Golden Bridge at Ba Na Hills and things to do in Da Nang. Compare every itinerary on our Vietnam tour packages for Nepali travellers page, or see official visitor information from Vietnam National Tourism.
