This 10-day itinerary combines the three destinations most travelers associate with a Philippines trip: Manila for history and culture, Boracay for classic beach resort time, and Cebu for a mix of city heritage and outdoor adventure. Rather than choosing between a beach-focused trip and an adventure-focused one, this route covers both, with Manila's city heritage as a natural opening chapter.

Arrival and Manila's Old Town

Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL) serves as both the arrival and departure point for the full trip. With Day 1 left unscheduled, travelers can settle into Makati or the Bay Area before Day 2's walk through Intramuros, Manila's walled Spanish colonial quarter, taking in Fort Santiago, San Agustin Church, and Casa Manila, followed by Rizal Park and a food crawl through Binondo, one of the oldest Chinatowns in the world.

Boracay: Classic Beach Time

Days 3 and 4 shift entirely to Boracay, reached by a short domestic flight and boat crossing. Moalboal: Sardines, Coral, and Canyoneering

Day 7 covers Moalboal's sardine run, a massive moving school of sardines reachable by swimming directly off the beach, followed by a boat trip to Pescador Island for its coral drop-off and a chance at turtle sightings on the way back. Day 8 shifts to Kawasan Falls canyoneering, trekking into the gorge and working downstream through a series of jumps, slides, and swims between limestone canyon walls, finishing at the falls themselves — a physically demanding but consistently memorable day for travelers of reasonable fitness.

Returning to Cebu City and Getting Home

Day 9 covers the drive back to Cebu City, with a free afternoon for last-minute shopping before Day 10's departure. The wetter months from June through November can bring heavier rain and occasional typhoons that may affect inter-island flights, boat crossings, and water visibility.
