“It was our best decision to choose Gomayu. We had a wonderful experience with GOMAYU during our Thailand trip. Hotels, Location and itinerary all were well planned and was according to our expectations. Response and communication was very good in Thailand as well. You made our trip very smooth, hassle free and stress free from begning to the end of our trip. This trip was memorable, as me and my husband got to celebrate our 20th wedding Anniversary together in the beautiful place of Thailand and credit goes to GOMAYU for all the arrangements . We are very much satisfied with your service and hope to have other trips with you soon. I would happily Recommend GOMAYU to my friends and family for their excellent service and professional support.”
“Me and my family had a great 10 days trip to Vietnam and Bangkok. All thanks to the wonderful service of Gomayu. Thank you so much for making our trip so easy, fun and stress free.”
“We had an unforgettable 5D4N trip to Bali with Gomayu Holidays! From the very beginning, the communication was smooth, clear, and professional. Everything was perfectly organized; airport pickup, hotel check-ins, and daily tours were always on time, with no stress at all. Our stay was split between a beautiful private pool villa in Seminyak and a comfortable room at Grand Mega Resort, both of which exceeded expectations. The itinerary was well-balanced with adventure, culture, and relaxation. We really enjoyed the watersports (banana boat, jet ski, parasailing), the stunning Uluwatu Temple with Kecak dance, and the romantic candlelight dinner at Jimbaran Beach. The Bali swing and tandem ATV ride were absolute highlights and so much fun! Visiting Lempuyang Temple (Gate of Heaven) was magical and very well arranged despite the crowds. We had some spare time to visit the malls and try local food as well. Special thanks to the guide and driver, who was friendly, helpful, super-flexible and always made sure we were comfortable. We didn’t have to worry about anything as everything was well-organized. Highly recommended for anyone planning a hassle-free and memorable Bali trip. Thank you, Gomayu Holidays, for making our holiday truly special!”
“We had a wonderful experience with Gomayau as our travel partner, with everything being well-organized and thoughtfully planned from start to finish, making the entire trip smooth and enjoyable; the overall coordination was excellent, with timely arrangements and great attention to detail, and the team’s consistent support throughout the journey made a real difference, while communication remained easy and reliable, giving us confidence and peace of mind; we truly appreciated the professionalism and dedication in handling logistics and day-to-day planning, which allowed us to fully relax and enjoy the trip, and overall, it was a great experience that we will remember for future travels and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a hassle-free and well-managed trip.”
“I recently traveled to Thailand with my wife through Gomayu Holidays, and it was a wonderful experience. The trip was very well organized, from airport transfers to hotel arrangements and sightseeing tours. Everything went smoothly, and we were able to relax and enjoy our vacation without any stress. I would definitely recommend Gomayu Holidays to anyone looking for a well-planned and memorable travel experience.”
This 6-day itinerary covers the region most travelers mean when they say "central Vietnam": Da Nang for its beaches and Ba Na Hills, Hoi An for heritage and lantern-lit evenings, and Hue for imperial history. Moving through all three in sequence, rather than picking one as a base, gives a fuller picture of the region's range, from modern coastal city to centuries-old trading port to a former royal capital.
The journey connects through Bangkok before arriving at Da Nang International Airport (DAD). Staying at a My Khe beachfront hotel for the Da Nang portion of the trip puts travelers directly on one of Vietnam's best-known stretches of coastline, with Day 1 left unscheduled to recover from the journey. Travelers visiting on a weekend can catch the Dragon Bridge's fire-breathing show, held at set times on Saturday and Sunday nights.
Day 2 covers Ba Na Hills, reached by one of the world's longest single-wire cable car systems. The Golden Bridge, a pedestrian walkway appearing to be held aloft by two giant stone hands above the cloud line, is the mountain resort's best-known landmark, and the surrounding French Village and Fantasy Park round out a full day at altitude, with noticeably cooler air than the coast below.
Day 3 combines checkout from Da Nang with a stop at the Marble Mountains, a cluster of five marble and limestone hills each named for one of the five elements, riddled with caves, hidden pagodas, and viewpoints over the coastline. Linh Ung Pagoda, home to a 67-metre statue of the Lady Buddha looking out to sea, is one of the tallest Buddha statues in Vietnam and makes for a striking final stop before continuing south to Hoi An.
Day 4 is dedicated to Hoi An's UNESCO-listed old town, walking past the Japanese Covered Bridge, the city's Chinese assembly halls, and its distinctive ochre-colored merchant houses, many centuries old and still in use. Hoi An has long been known as a center for custom tailoring, and this itinerary builds in time to order a tailored suit or ao dai in the morning, ready for fitting the following day, though the tailoring cost itself sits outside the package. The day closes with one of Hoi An's most recognizable rituals: releasing a paper lantern onto the Thu Bon River after dark, a scene that has become closely associated with the town itself.
Day 5 heads north over the Hai Van Pass, a mountain road with long views down the central coastline, to Hue, Vietnam's former imperial capital. The Imperial City and Forbidden Purple City, both part of Hue's citadel complex, reflect the seat of the Nguyen dynasty, Vietnam's last ruling imperial family, and the accompanying royal tombs scattered around the city add further layers of history. Thien Mu Pagoda, perched on the banks of the Perfume River, closes out the day before the return drive to Hoi An.
The final morning is left free to collect any tailoring ordered on Day 4 and enjoy a last coffee by the river before the transfer back to Da Nang International Airport for the flight home via Bangkok.
February through May generally offers the most reliable weather across all three destinations on this itinerary, with drier conditions benefiting both the Ba Na Hills cable car visibility and the Hai Van Pass drive to Hue. Central Vietnam's rainy season typically runs from September through December.
Vietnamese Dong (VND) is the local currency, with exchange facilities available in Da Nang and Hoi An. Since Day 4 involves ordering tailored clothing, it's worth bringing reference photos or a preferred style in mind if custom tailoring is of interest, as it isn't included in the package price. Comfortable walking shoes matter throughout, particularly for the Marble Mountains' cave climbs and the walking-heavy days in both Hoi An and Hue.
Before you book, Nepali and NRN travellers should review the Vietnam visa for Nepali citizens. For planning, read things to do in Da Nang and the Hoi An lantern festival.
