“It was our best decision to choose Gomayu. We had a wonderful experience with GOMAYU during our Thailand trip. Hotels, Location and itinerary all were well planned and was according to our expectations. Response and communication was very good in Thailand as well. You made our trip very smooth, hassle free and stress free from begning to the end of our trip. This trip was memorable, as me and my husband got to celebrate our 20th wedding Anniversary together in the beautiful place of Thailand and credit goes to GOMAYU for all the arrangements . We are very much satisfied with your service and hope to have other trips with you soon. I would happily Recommend GOMAYU to my friends and family for their excellent service and professional support.”
“Me and my family had a great 10 days trip to Vietnam and Bangkok. All thanks to the wonderful service of Gomayu. Thank you so much for making our trip so easy, fun and stress free.”
“We had an unforgettable 5D4N trip to Bali with Gomayu Holidays! From the very beginning, the communication was smooth, clear, and professional. Everything was perfectly organized; airport pickup, hotel check-ins, and daily tours were always on time, with no stress at all. Our stay was split between a beautiful private pool villa in Seminyak and a comfortable room at Grand Mega Resort, both of which exceeded expectations. The itinerary was well-balanced with adventure, culture, and relaxation. We really enjoyed the watersports (banana boat, jet ski, parasailing), the stunning Uluwatu Temple with Kecak dance, and the romantic candlelight dinner at Jimbaran Beach. The Bali swing and tandem ATV ride were absolute highlights and so much fun! Visiting Lempuyang Temple (Gate of Heaven) was magical and very well arranged despite the crowds. We had some spare time to visit the malls and try local food as well. Special thanks to the guide and driver, who was friendly, helpful, super-flexible and always made sure we were comfortable. We didn’t have to worry about anything as everything was well-organized. Highly recommended for anyone planning a hassle-free and memorable Bali trip. Thank you, Gomayu Holidays, for making our holiday truly special!”
“We had a wonderful experience with Gomayau as our travel partner, with everything being well-organized and thoughtfully planned from start to finish, making the entire trip smooth and enjoyable; the overall coordination was excellent, with timely arrangements and great attention to detail, and the team’s consistent support throughout the journey made a real difference, while communication remained easy and reliable, giving us confidence and peace of mind; we truly appreciated the professionalism and dedication in handling logistics and day-to-day planning, which allowed us to fully relax and enjoy the trip, and overall, it was a great experience that we will remember for future travels and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a hassle-free and well-managed trip.”
“I recently traveled to Thailand with my wife through Gomayu Holidays, and it was a wonderful experience. The trip was very well organized, from airport transfers to hotel arrangements and sightseeing tours. Everything went smoothly, and we were able to relax and enjoy our vacation without any stress. I would definitely recommend Gomayu Holidays to anyone looking for a well-planned and memorable travel experience.”
This 10-day itinerary is the most extensive Himachal-region route in Gomayu's lineup, extending the Shimla-Manali-Dharamshala-Dalhousie circuit further into Punjab for a stop at Amritsar's Golden Temple. It suits travelers who want to close out a hill-station trip with one of India's most significant spiritual and historical sites, rather than looping straight back through the mountains.
The itinerary follows the same route as Gomayu's 9-day Magnificent Himachal tour through Day 8: arrival in Delhi and the drive to Shimla via Pinjore Gardens or Timber Trail, Shimla and Kufri sightseeing, the drive to Manali via the Kullu Valley, Manali's temples and Solang Valley, the Atal Tunnel excursion, the drive to Dharamshala via Baijnath and Palampur, Dharamshala and McLeodganj sightseeing, and finally Dalhousie and Khajjiar.
Day 9 marks this itinerary's key extension, driving from Dalhousie into Punjab to Amritsar. On arrival, the itinerary covers the Golden Temple (Sri Harmandir Sahib), the holiest site in Sikhism and one of India's most visually striking religious buildings, along with Mata Mandir and Jallianwala Bagh, the site of the 1919 massacre and a significant location in India's independence history. Visiting the Golden Temple in the evening, when it's often at its most atmospheric with lighting reflected in the surrounding sarovar (holy pool), tends to be a highlight many travelers remember well after the trip.
Day 10 opens with a visit to the Wagah Border, the site of the daily Beating Retreat ceremony conducted jointly by India's Border Security Force and Pakistan's Rangers, a highly choreographed and widely attended display of both military precision and cross-border rivalry-turned-tradition. It's one of the most distinctive experiences on this itinerary, drawing large crowds on both sides of the border for the daily ceremony. The drive to Delhi follows, closing out the circuit.
The final leg covers the drive from Amritsar to Delhi, with a drop at the airport or railway station for onward travel.
March through June and September through November generally offer the most comfortable conditions across this itinerary's full range, from Himachal's mountain roads to Punjab's plains, where summer heat is intense. Winter (December through February) brings snow to the higher Himachal elevations, particularly around the Atal Tunnel, while the monsoon months (July-August) carry landslide risk on mountain roads.
Indian Rupee (INR) is the local currency. Given how extensive the driving is across this 10-day circuit, travelers prone to motion sickness may want to plan accordingly. At the Golden Temple, modest dress and a head covering are required for entry (head coverings are typically available on-site), and shoes must be removed before entering the complex. For the Wagah Border ceremony, arriving early is worth doing given how quickly viewing areas fill, particularly during peak season.
