Kochi: A Heritage Start

The trip opens at Kochi Airport, with a half-day city tour covering some of Kochi's most recognizable sites: the Chinese Fishing Nets, a distinctive cantilevered fishing method introduced by traders centuries ago and still in daily use along the waterfront, St. Francis Church, one of the oldest European-built churches in India, Santa Cruz Basilica, the Jewish Synagogue in the historic Jew Town quarter, and Mattancherry Palace, also known as the Dutch Palace despite its original Portuguese construction and later Dutch renovations. Munnar: Tea Gardens and Wildlife
