āIt was our best decision to choose Gomayu. We had a wonderful experience with GOMAYU during our Thailand trip. Hotels, Location and itinerary all were well planned and was according to our expectations. Response and communication was very good in Thailand as well. You made our trip very smooth, hassle free and stress free from begning to the end of our trip. This trip was memorable, as me and my husband got to celebrate our 20th wedding Anniversary together in the beautiful place of Thailand and credit goes to GOMAYU for all the arrangements . We are very much satisfied with your service and hope to have other trips with you soon. I would happily Recommend GOMAYU to my friends and family for their excellent service and professional support.ā
āMe and my family had a great 10 days trip to Vietnam and Bangkok. All thanks to the wonderful service of Gomayu. Thank you so much for making our trip so easy, fun and stress free.ā
āWe had an unforgettable 5D4N trip to Bali with Gomayu Holidays! From the very beginning, the communication was smooth, clear, and professional. Everything was perfectly organized; airport pickup, hotel check-ins, and daily tours were always on time, with no stress at all. Our stay was split between a beautiful private pool villa in Seminyak and a comfortable room at Grand Mega Resort, both of which exceeded expectations. The itinerary was well-balanced with adventure, culture, and relaxation. We really enjoyed the watersports (banana boat, jet ski, parasailing), the stunning Uluwatu Temple with Kecak dance, and the romantic candlelight dinner at Jimbaran Beach. The Bali swing and tandem ATV ride were absolute highlights and so much fun! Visiting Lempuyang Temple (Gate of Heaven) was magical and very well arranged despite the crowds. We had some spare time to visit the malls and try local food as well. Special thanks to the guide and driver, who was friendly, helpful, super-flexible and always made sure we were comfortable. We didnāt have to worry about anything as everything was well-organized. Highly recommended for anyone planning a hassle-free and memorable Bali trip. Thank you, Gomayu Holidays, for making our holiday truly special!ā
āWe had a wonderful experience with Gomayau as our travel partner, with everything being well-organized and thoughtfully planned from start to finish, making the entire trip smooth and enjoyable; the overall coordination was excellent, with timely arrangements and great attention to detail, and the teamās consistent support throughout the journey made a real difference, while communication remained easy and reliable, giving us confidence and peace of mind; we truly appreciated the professionalism and dedication in handling logistics and day-to-day planning, which allowed us to fully relax and enjoy the trip, and overall, it was a great experience that we will remember for future travels and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a hassle-free and well-managed trip.ā

I would definitely recommend Gomayu Holidays to anyone looking for a well-planned and memorable travel experience.ā
Most Sri Lanka beach itineraries run along the south and west coasts, but this 8-day route covers the east instead, a genuinely different, less-visited stretch of coastline that depends entirely on its own separate dry season. Sri Lanka's two monsoons hit opposite sides of the island at different times of year: the southwest monsoon brings rain to the west and south coasts from roughly May to September, while the northeast monsoon brings rain to the east coast from roughly October to January. That means this itinerary only makes sense within a specific window, and it's built and marketed accordingly.
The trip opens at Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) with a transfer to Negombo, then continues inland to the Cultural Triangle on Day 2. Sigiriya Rock Fortress is climbed in the late afternoon rather than the more commonly recommended early morning, timed specifically to catch the rock in shade once the day's heat has passed and the bulk of the day's visitors have already left, a genuinely different, quieter way to experience the climb.
Day 3 covers the roughly three-hour drive east to the coast, checking in at Nilaveli, known for calm, clear water well suited to swimming. Koneswaram Temple, perched on Swami Rock above Trincomalee's harbour, is one of Sri Lanka's most significant Hindu temples, and visiting at sunset gives the stop both historical and scenic weight. Day 4 covers Pigeon Island National Park, one of Sri Lanka's smallest but most rewarding marine parks, known for reliable reef shark and turtle sightings alongside healthy coral; visitor time on the island itself is limited by park management to protect the reef, so the excursion runs as a shorter, focused outing rather than a full day, with the afternoon left free on Nilaveli's long, quiet beach.
Day 5 covers the drive south through Batticaloa country to Pasikuda, known for a shallow, crescent-shaped bay that allows swimmers to wade out remarkably far before the water gets deep, making it one of the safer, calmer beach stops on the east coast. This day is deliberately left unscheduled, positioned as the itinerary's rest day roughly midway through the trip.
Day 6 covers the continued drive south to Arugam Bay, widely regarded as Sri Lanka's premier surf destination and one of the best surf breaks in the region internationally. Baby Point offers gentler waves suited to lessons and beginners, while Main Point is where more experienced surfers ride the bay's better-known breaks; travelers can choose to take a lesson or simply watch depending on interest and experience. Arugam Bay's beach bars, running late through the dry season, give the town a lively evening character distinct from the quieter stops earlier in the trip.
Day 7 covers the trip's single longest transfer, driving back across the island from Arugam Bay to Negombo with a lunch stop en route, arriving by evening ahead of the next day's departure.
Day 8 is kept simple, with an early breakfast and a short transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport for departure.
This itinerary runs exclusively from May to September, when Sri Lanka's east coast experiences its dry season: calm seas, clear skies, and consistent surf conditions at Arugam Bay. Outside this window, the northeast monsoon makes the east coast considerably less suitable for a beach and surf-focused trip, and this itinerary should not be scheduled outside its stated season.
Sri Lankan Rupee (LKR) is the local currency. Reef-safe sunscreen is worth packing given the time spent at Pigeon Island's reef, and modest dress is appreciated when visiting Koneswaram Temple. Since this itinerary includes one notably long transfer day (Day 7), travelers prone to motion sickness or fatigue on long drives may want to plan accordingly, and building in some flexibility around that day is worth considering when scheduling onward travel.
