Universal Studios Singapore: Rides, Zones and Visit Tips

30 min read 28 Oct 2026
Visitors gathered around the Universal globe at the entrance to Universal Studios Singapore on Sentosa

Short answer: Universal Studios Singapore (USS) is the movie theme park inside Resorts World Sentosa on Sentosa Island, and in late 2026 it has 7 themed zones: Hollywood, New York, Sci-Fi City, Ancient Egypt, The Lost World, Far Far Away and Minion Land, which opened on 14 February 2025 in place of the old Madagascar zone. The official calendar lists the park from 10am every day to the end of 2026, with the later listed time between 6pm and 9pm depending on the date. Plan a full day, check the closure list before you go, and know your children's heights, because each ride has its own rule. Checked: 28 Oct 2026, rwsentosa.com.

This guide covers the whole USS day: every zone and its rides, the official height rules, which rides suit a toddler, a teenager or a grandparent, how to cut queue time, whether Universal Express is worth it, what to wear in the heat and rain, and how to reach the park on the Sentosa Express monorail, bus, cable car, on foot or by taxi. It does not include ticket prices, which change often; check those on the official site. If you are still shaping the wider trip, start with our complete Singapore travel guide, and for the island itself see our Sentosa Island guide.

What is Universal Studios Singapore?

Universal Studios Singapore is a Universal-branded theme park at Resorts World Sentosa, and Resorts World Sentosa describes it as Southeast Asia's first and only Universal Studios park. Its rides, shows and street sets are based on films and TV series such as Transformers, Jurassic Park, Shrek, Sesame Street and Despicable Me. The park address is 30 Sentosa Gateway, Singapore 098140.

The park is built in a loop around a central lagoon. You enter through Hollywood, and from there you can walk left towards Minion Land, Far Far Away and The Lost World, or right towards New York, Sci-Fi City and Ancient Egypt. The two sides meet again behind the lagoon, so you can walk the whole circuit without backtracking.

For Nepali travellers, USS is usually one full day within a wider Singapore trip, often the day the children have been waiting for. It works well for families, for teenagers who want roller coasters, and for couples who enjoy theme parks. Flights from Kathmandu arrive at Changi Airport, and Sentosa sits just off the southern edge of the city. Our guide to flights from Kathmandu to Singapore covers your flight options.

What are Universal Studios Singapore's opening hours and current closures?

Universal Studios Singapore opens at 10am on every date listed in its official calendar, and the later time changes with the season, so always check the calendar for your exact date. Rides and shows also close temporarily for maintenance, and one major ride is scheduled to close from 1 November 2026 to 31 July 2027.

The table below summarises the official calendar as published on 28 October 2026. RWS presents these hours under the heading "Open, Last Admission" and does not say on the page whether the later time is when the gates stop admitting guests or when the park closes, so confirm the end of your day in the USS app or at Guest Services. Hours can change without notice, so treat the table as a pattern, not a promise.

Checked: 28 Oct 2026, USS operating hours calendar on the official Universal Studios Singapore page.

Time-limited event: Halloween Horror Nights 14, a separately ticketed horror event that is not part of a day ticket, is scheduled on select nights from 25 September to 1 November 2026 only, from 7:30pm to 12:30am. If you are reading this after 1 November 2026, it has ended for the year.

The official temporary closure list is the most important page to check before you visit. On 28 October 2026 it showed these closures:

AttractionZoneScheduled closure
Lights, Camera, Action!New York16 September to 8 November 2026
Treasure HuntersAncient Egypt12 October to 29 November 2026
Jurassic Park Rapids AdventureThe Lost World1 November 2026 to 31 July 2027
Pantages TheaterHollywood3 to 10 November 2026
Sesame Street Spaghetti Space ChaseNew York10 to 23 November 2026
WaterWorld (show)The Lost WorldMarked "temporarily unavailable" on the zone page, no end date given

Checked: 28 Oct 2026, the USS temporary closures page and The Lost World zone page. RWS says these dates may change without notice and points visitors to the USS app for the latest updates.

The Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure closure matters most: if your trip falls between 1 November 2026 and 31 July 2027, the park's main water ride is scheduled to be closed, whether you are travelling over a Nepali festival break or the winter holidays.

What are the zones and best rides?

Universal Studios Singapore has 7 zones, and the headline rides are Battlestar Galactica: HUMAN vs. CYLON and Revenge of the Mummy for thrill-seekers, TRANSFORMERS The Ride and Despicable Me Minion Mayhem for families, and Puss In Boots' Giant Journey and Enchanted Airways as starter coasters. Every zone also has shows, meet and greets, food and shops.

Zone-by-zone ride table with height rules

Height rules below come from the official Guide for Safety and Accessibility (version 2026.07). "Companion under" means a child below that height must ride with a Supervising Companion, who must be 14 or older and meet the ride's own requirements. The thrill level is our own plain-English rating based on the official ride descriptions, not an official scale.

Checked: 28 Oct 2026, the USS Guide for Safety and Accessibility (version 2026.07) and individual ride pages on rwsentosa.com. Ride staff have the final say at each entrance.

Hollywood

Hollywood is the entrance street, with the Walk of Fame, shops, Mel's Drive-In and the Pantages Hollywood Theater, which hosts the Trolls Hug Time Jubilee show on the current park map. There are no rides here, but it is where you will find many shows and meet and greets, and the Universal Fireworks Spectacular finale is listed under the Hollywood zone. RWS also lists the Universal Star Power Parade on Sunday evenings; check show times in the app.

New York

New York recreates city streets from the movies. Sesame Street Spaghetti Space Chase is a suspended family ride that simulates a space flight, and Lights, Camera, Action! is a special-effects show in which a Category 5 hurricane hits a New York City harbour set, with loud noise, fire, wind and water effects that the official guide says may be too intense for young children. Ready, Set, Rescue! is a gamified wall-climbing experience that RWS sells as its own ticket, so check before you assume it is included.

Sci-Fi City

Sci-Fi City is where the biggest thrills sit. Battlestar Galactica: HUMAN vs. CYLON is a pair of duelling roller coasters that RWS calls the world's tallest; HUMAN is a high-speed coaster and CYLON is a suspended coaster that turns riders upside down 5 times. TRANSFORMERS The Ride: The Ultimate 3D Battle is an indoor 3D ride on a robotic vehicle, and Accelerator is a spinning pod ride. Battlestar Galactica riders go through metal detector wand screening, because loose items are strictly prohibited.

Ancient Egypt

Ancient Egypt takes you back to 1920s Egypt. Revenge of the Mummy is a high-speed indoor coaster into total darkness that also moves backwards, with fog, strobe and fire effects. Treasure Hunters lets young explorers drive a vintage motor car through an excavation site, and suits most ages once it reopens after its scheduled closure.

The Lost World

The Lost World combines Jurassic Park and WaterWorld. Canopy Flyer is a glider-style coaster above the jungle, and Dino-Soarin' is a gentle circular ride where riders control the up and down movement. Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure is a circular raft ride with a drop where riders get wet and possibly soaked; it is scheduled to close from 1 November 2026 to 31 July 2027. Dinosaur meet and greets such as Raptor Encounter run here too.

Far Far Away

Far Far Away is the Shrek kingdom and the most child-friendly zone after Minion Land. Puss In Boots' Giant Journey is a glider-style overhead coaster, Enchanted Airways is a junior roller coaster over the canopies of Far Far Away that the official safety guide still describes as high-speed, Magic Potion Spin is a miniature Ferris wheel inside Fairy Godmother's Potion Shop, and Shrek 4-D Adventure is a film with moving seats and effects. Donkey LIVE and Fortune Favors the Furry are the zone's shows.

Minion Land

Illumination's Minion Land is the newest zone. Despicable Me Minion Mayhem takes you through Gru's lab on a motion-simulator ride, Silly Swirly lifts riders in spinning vehicles over the lagoon views, and Buggie Boogie is a dance-party carousel. The zone also has Minion shows, family photo meet and greets with Gru, Lucy and the girls, and themed food stands.

Which rides suit small kids, teens and grandparents?

Small children under about 92cm are limited to the gentle rides, shows and stationary seating; children of 102cm to 122cm can do most family rides with an adult; teens of 125cm or more can ride everything; and grandparents are best on the gentle rides, shows and stationary seats. The table below matches rides to each group using the official height rules and ride descriptions.

WhoGood fitsThink twice
Toddlers who can walk and sit upright alone (under 92cm)Buggie Boogie, Dino-Soarin', Magic Potion Spin, Treasure Hunters (after it reopens), Shrek 4-D Adventure, Minion Mayhem from stationary seating, shows and meet and greetsAccelerator spins hard; Lights, Camera, Action! has loud fire and water effects

Children, 102cm to 121cmAdd TRANSFORMERS, Puss In Boots' Giant Journey and the moving seats of Minion Mayhem; Jurassic Park Rapids from 107cm when open; Sesame Street from 110cmTRANSFORMERS is intense and dark for some children; Revenge of the Mummy needs 122cm

Grandparents and less mobile adultsShows (Pantages, Donkey LIVE, Mel's Mixtape), Shrek 4-D Adventure and Minion Mayhem stationary seats, Buggie Boogie stationary seats, Dino-Soarin', Magic Potion Spin, Treasure HuntersBattlestar Galactica and Revenge of the Mummy ask for good physical health; TRANSFORMERS warns against riding if prone to motion sickness

Checked: 28 Oct 2026, USS Guide for Safety and Accessibility (version 2026.07).

Rules every parent should know

  • Hand-held infants: some rides do not allow them. The official guide treats a child as a hand-held infant if they cannot walk to the ride seat on their own or cannot sit upright without help.
  • Supervising Companion: must be 14 or older. A 12-year-old sibling cannot be the companion for a younger child.
  • Child Swap: one adult waits with a child who cannot ride while the others queue and ride, then the adults swap without queuing again. Ask the ride attendant or Guest Services.
  • Baby Centre: just inside the entrance on the left, with private nursing rooms, changing beds, feeding chairs and a hot water dispenser.
  • Strollers and wheelchairs: you may bring your own, or rent one near the entrance on a first-come, first-served basis (a rental charge applies).
  • Restrooms: every zone has restrooms with diaper changing stations, and Sci-Fi City has a dedicated baby changing room.

For grandparents, the official guide notes that team members are not trained to lift or carry guests, so a less mobile traveller should come with a family member who can help with ride transfers. Motorised wheelchairs and electric convenience vehicles cannot go into ride vehicles or queues, but guests can transfer to a standard wheelchair provided at each location. For broader advice on travelling with children, see our guide to Singapore with kids.

How can you avoid long queues?

The most reliable way to cut queues at Universal Studios Singapore is to arrive before the 10am opening, ride the most popular rides first, follow wait times in the official app, and visit on a weekday outside Singapore's school holidays. RWS's own tips page also suggests families start on the left and thrill-seekers head right.

TacticWhy it helps
Be at the gate before 10amBeing first through the gate is the classic theme park tactic, and RWS itself advises visiting right when the park opens because rides operate at staggered times.
Pick a side and commitFamilies: go left to Minion Land and Far Far Away. Thrill-seekers: go right to Sci-Fi City for Battlestar Galactica and TRANSFORMERS, then Ancient Egypt.
Use the USS app all dayThe official app shows ride wait times, show times and meet and greet schedules, so you can move to whatever is short.
Ride during shows and paradesWhen crowds gather for a show, the parade or the fireworks, queues elsewhere can ease.
Use Child SwapParents of small children only queue once for a ride both adults want.
Travel lightBattlestar Galactica, Revenge of the Mummy and Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure have lockers at the entrance; fewer loose items means fewer locker detours.
Check the closure list the night beforeKnowing which rides are closed stops you walking across the park to a shut gate.
Avoid peak periods if you canWeekends, Singapore public holidays and the school year-end holiday (21 November to 31 December 2026) are when local families visit too.

Checked: 28 Oct 2026, RWS "Insider Tips to Maximise Your Time at Universal Studios Singapore" (updated June 2022), USS guest services page and the Ministry of Education Singapore 2026 school calendar.

A sample flow for a family with a 105cm child: enter at 10am, go left to Minion Mayhem first, then Silly Swirly and Buggie Boogie, cross into Far Far Away for Puss In Boots' Giant Journey and Enchanted Airways, eat an early lunch before noon, watch a show in the hottest part of the afternoon, then continue round to The Lost World and Sci-Fi City for TRANSFORMERS once the morning crowds have spread out. This is a suggested order, not an official route.

Minion Land is the newest zone, so expect it to draw crowds through the day. If Minion Mayhem shows a long wait in the app mid-morning, check again later in the day.

Is an Express Pass worth considering?

Universal Express is worth considering if you have only one day at the park, are visiting on a weekend or in school holidays, or have teenagers who want the big rides without long waits; it is less useful on quiet weekdays or for families with very young children. Universal Express is an add-on bought with a park ticket that lets you skip the regular queue at participating rides and shows.

OptionWhat you getGood to know
Universal ExpressSkip the regular queue once at each participating ride and show, plus Priority Access entry lane in the first two hours of openingDated for one day only
Universal Express 3Skip the regular queue once at any 3 participating rides and shows, plus the same Priority Access entryDated for one day only
USS VIP ExperienceA guided tour with priority access to rides and meet and greets, among other benefitsTours take up to 12 people; book through RWS

Checked: 28 Oct 2026, USS Universal Express page, ticketing terms and FAQ on rwsentosa.com.

Limits to know before you buy

  • One use per ride: Express skips the queue once per attraction. Riding Battlestar Galactica three times still means two regular queues.
  • Not valid everywhere: the ticketing terms list Magic Potion Spin, Canopy Flyer, Treasure Hunters, Ready, Set, Rescue! and the front row of Battlestar Galactica as excluded, along with "other selected attractions".
  • Closures do not change what you pay: RWS states Express passes continue to be sold as normal during scheduled ride closures, so check the closure list first. From 1 November 2026, Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure is closed until 31 July 2027.
  • Where to buy: online only after a park ticket is in your cart, or on site at Guest Services, self-service kiosks and selected stores in the park.

Our view: for a family with young children who mostly want gentle rides, several of the small rides are excluded anyway, so Express adds less. For teenagers on a busy December Saturday, it can save a lot of queuing time on the big coasters. If you are weighing USS against other spending on the trip, our guide to whether Singapore is expensive helps with the overall budget picture.

What should you bring and wear?

Wear light, comfortable clothes and closed walking shoes, bring sun protection, a rain layer and a spare set of clothes, and keep loose items to a minimum, because USS is mostly outdoors in tropical heat and many rides ban loose articles. RWS itself recommends comfortable clothes and shoes and a spare set of clothes for rides where you may get wet.

BringWhy
Comfortable walking shoesYou will walk the full loop, often more than once. Shoes and shirts must be worn at all times.
Cap, sunglasses and sunscreenSingapore daytime highs are typically 31 to 33°C and most queues are outdoors.
Compact umbrella or light ponchoAfternoon and early evening thunderstorms are common, especially from late March to May and in October and November.
Spare T-shirt for each childWater rides and sudden rain. There are no showers in the park, though drying pods are available.
Refillable water bottleHeat and humidity. Outside food and drinks are not permitted, so ask at the bag check whether an empty bottle is fine and plan to buy drinks inside the park.
Phone with the USS app and a power bankWait times and show times all day. Power banks can also be rented at Guest Services.
A contactless card or phone walletThe official USS FAQ says contactless payment is preferred. It lists cash, credit and debit cards, China UnionPay, Alipay and PayNow among accepted methods, and says NETS is not accepted.
Small cross-body bagEasier to hand to a non-rider or fit in a locker than a backpack.

Checked: 28 Oct 2026, USS FAQ and guest services page on rwsentosa.com; Meteorological Service Singapore climate page.

Dress rules and park rules

  • Costumes: costumes, full-face make-up and masks are normally not allowed. The only 2026 exception was a Halloween window from 25 September to 1 November 2026, under RWS costume guidelines.
  • Bags: all bags are subject to inspection at the entrance.
  • Drones and scooters: drones are not allowed, and wheeled items such as scooters and skates are not permitted.
  • Re-entry: a standard admission ticket does not allow re-entry, so bring everything you need for the day.
  • Photography: allowed around the park, but not while on rides.
  • Facial recognition: RWS states it uses facial recognition for access management at USS.

Our dos and don'ts in Singapore guide covers the wider local rules, such as no smoking outside marked areas, which also applies inside the park.

Food inside USS: outside food, vegetarian and halal

Outside food and drinks are not permitted at Universal Studios Singapore, except baby food, formula and food for guests with special dietary requirements, and bags are checked at the entrance. Plan to eat inside the park.

  • Halal-certified outlets: RWS lists Mel's Drive-In, Oasis Spice Café (Ancient Egypt), Friar's Good Food and Goldilocks as halal certified.
  • Vegetarian: RWS says selected outlets offer vegetarian choices. In Minion Land, the Super Hungry Food Stand menu includes a Super Silly Veggie Burger. Oasis Spice Café serves Indian dishes, but its listed favourites are meat dishes, so ask about vegetarian items at the counter.
  • Prayer rooms: there are prayer rooms in Ancient Egypt and Minion Land, with separate rooms for men and women and wudu facilities; prayer mats are provided, but bring your own prayer garments.

Checked: 28 Oct 2026, USS FAQ, Minion Land and Ancient Egypt zone pages, guest services page.

Many Nepali families eat vegetarian or avoid beef, and park menus change, so always check ingredients at the counter. Strict vegetarians may prefer a big breakfast before entering and a proper meal after the park. Our guide to the best food in Singapore will help you plan meals for your other evenings.

Rain and heat tips

USS does not close for bad weather, but outdoor attractions may close temporarily when there is a lightning risk, and tickets are non-refundable in bad weather. A heavy shower often means a pause, not the end of the day.

  • When it rains, head indoors: TRANSFORMERS The Ride, Revenge of the Mummy, Shrek 4-D Adventure, Despicable Me Minion Mayhem and the shows in theatres are under a roof.
  • When it clears, move fast: outdoor coasters such as Battlestar Galactica, Canopy Flyer and Enchanted Airways reopen after the lightning risk passes, and queues may be shorter for a while.
  • Midday heat: plan an indoor show or lunch between about noon and 2pm, and keep children drinking water.
  • Season matters: Meteorological Service Singapore says rainfall is higher from November to January, and the inter-monsoon periods (late March to May, and October to November) bring afternoon and early evening thunderstorms.

Checked: 28 Oct 2026, USS FAQ and the Meteorological Service Singapore climate page. For month-by-month weather across the whole island, see our guide to the best time to visit Singapore.

How do you get to Universal Studios on Sentosa?

The most popular way to reach Universal Studios Singapore is the MRT to HarbourFront, then the Sentosa Express monorail from VivoCity, Level 3, to Resorts World Station; you can also take a bus, walk the Sentosa Boardwalk, ride the cable car, or take a taxi to the Resorts World Sentosa drop-off.

RouteHow it worksHours and notes

Checked: 28 Oct 2026, RWS Getting Here page and USS page; Sentosa Development Corporation's Getting to Sentosa page.

Sentosa collects an island admission charge on some routes into the island, and the amount depends on how you travel; check the current rules on sentosa.com.sg before you go. Once you are on Sentosa, RWS lists Sentosa Bus A and Bus B running daily from 7am to 12:10am, and an in-resort shuttle from 8am to 10pm.

For a family with a stroller and grandparents, the monorail from VivoCity is usually the simplest: it is covered, it stops right at Resorts World, and there is no long walk in the sun. Taxis make most sense if you are staying far from HarbourFront or travelling as a group of four or five. If you are landing at Changi on the morning of your park day, our Changi Airport guide covers what to expect on arrival.

What else is near USS on Sentosa?

Right next to Universal Studios Singapore, Resorts World Sentosa has the Singapore Oceanarium, Adventure Cove Waterpark and Harry Potter: Visions of Magic, and the rest of Sentosa adds beaches, gardens, a coastal fort and evening shows. Because USS tickets do not allow re-entry, it is best to visit these on a different day or after you leave the park.

Checked: 28 Oct 2026, RWS attraction pages and Sentosa Discovery Guide (May 2026, Sentosa Development Corporation).

Sentosa's May 2026 discovery guide also lists an Indian vegetarian restaurant at Imbiah Lookout, which can be handy for vegetarian Nepali families after a park day. For ideas across the rest of the city, see our list of things to do in Singapore. Honeymooners mixing a theme park day with romantic evenings will find ideas in our Singapore honeymoon guide, and the skyline views from Marina Bay Sands make a good contrast to a day of rides.

How do you plan your Universal Studios Singapore day?

Plan your Universal Studios Singapore day by choosing a weekday outside Singapore's school holidays, checking the official calendar and closure list a few days before, measuring your children's heights at home, and building the rest of your Singapore trip around one full park day. Here is a simple checklist.

  1. Pick the date: weekdays are generally calmer than weekends. Singapore's 2026 school year-end holiday runs from 21 November to 31 December, so expect busier days then.
  2. Check hours and closures: look at the USS calendar and the temporary closure page on rwsentosa.com, then again in the app the night before.
  3. Measure the children: 92cm, 102cm, 107cm, 110cm, 122cm and 125cm are the key cut-offs. Ride staff have the final say at each entrance, so do not count on a borderline height.
  4. Decide on Express: busy date plus thrill-seeking teens means it is worth pricing; quiet weekday with toddlers usually means you can skip it.
  5. Download the USS app: wait times, show times and meet and greets in one place.
  6. Plan meals: outside food is not allowed, so decide where you will eat, especially if you need vegetarian or halal options.
  7. Plan the journey: aim to be at Resorts World Station or the B1 drop-off before 10am.
  8. Build the wider trip: consider one full day for USS and a second day for Sentosa's other attractions.

For Nepali families timing a trip around Dashain, Tihar or the winter school break, remember two things for late 2026 and early 2027: Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure is scheduled to be closed from 1 November 2026 to 31 July 2027, and Singapore's wetter months run from November to January. Neither is a reason to skip USS, but they shape which day you choose and what you pack.

If you are deciding how long to stay overall, our guide on how many days you need in Singapore and our day-by-day Singapore itinerary show where a USS day fits best. Entry rules for Nepali passport holders are on our Singapore visa page. To see how a USS day can sit inside a longer trip, browse our Singapore tour packages.

Frequently asked questions

How many hours do you need at Universal Studios Singapore?

Plan a full day at Universal Studios Singapore. The park opens at 10am, and the later time on the official late 2026 calendar falls between 6pm and 9pm, so expect roughly 8 to 11 hours depending on the date. Families who want every suitable ride, a few shows and a relaxed lunch usually use most of that time, especially on busy days.

What are the height limits on the big rides?

At Universal Studios Singapore, Battlestar Galactica HUMAN and CYLON need 125cm, Revenge of the Mummy needs 122cm, Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure needs 107cm, and TRANSFORMERS, Puss In Boots' Giant Journey and Minion Mayhem need 102cm. On most family rides, children under 122cm must ride with a Supervising Companion aged 14 or older. Checked: 28 Oct 2026, official safety guide.

Is USS open every day?

Universal Studios Singapore's official calendar shows the park open every day from October to December 2026, opening at 10am, with the later listed time between 6pm and 9pm depending on the date. RWS says hours can change without notice, so check the calendar on rwsentosa.com for your exact date before you go.

Can you bring food into USS?

No. Outside food and drinks are not permitted at Universal Studios Singapore, except baby food, formula and food for guests with special dietary requirements. Bags are checked at the entrance. Plan to eat and buy drinks at the park's restaurants and food carts.

Is there vegetarian food at USS?

Yes. Resorts World Sentosa says selected outlets at Universal Studios Singapore offer vegetarian choices, and the Super Hungry Food Stand in Minion Land lists a Super Silly Veggie Burger. Menus change, so check ingredients at the counter. Mel's Drive-In, Oasis Spice Café, Friar's Good Food and Goldilocks are halal certified.

What happens to rides when it rains?

Universal Studios Singapore does not close for bad weather, but outdoor attractions may close temporarily when there is a lightning risk, and tickets are non-refundable. Use the break for indoor rides such as TRANSFORMERS, Revenge of the Mummy, Shrek 4-D Adventure and Minion Mayhem, then return to the outdoor coasters when they reopen.

Is USS suitable for toddlers?

Yes, with limits. Toddlers at Universal Studios Singapore must be able to walk to the ride seat and sit upright alone for most rides. Good choices include Buggie Boogie, Dino-Soarin', Magic Potion Spin, Shrek 4-D Adventure and Minion Mayhem from stationary seating. There is a Baby Centre with nursing rooms near the entrance.

How do I get from VivoCity to USS?

From VivoCity, take the Sentosa Express monorail from Lobby L, Level 3 to Resorts World Station, which is the stop for Universal Studios Singapore. The monorail runs from 7am to midnight. You can also walk via the Sentosa Boardwalk from Lobby F, Level 1, or take the RWS8 bus.

Is Minion Land open?

Yes. Illumination's Minion Land opened at Universal Studios Singapore on 14 February 2025 and is listed as open on the official site as of 28 October 2026. Its rides are Despicable Me Minion Mayhem, Silly Swirly and the Buggie Boogie carousel, alongside Minion shows and meet and greets.

Is a weekday or weekend better for USS?

A weekday is usually the better choice for Universal Studios Singapore, especially outside Singapore's school holidays, which in 2026 include 21 November to 31 December. Weekends and public holidays bring local families as well as tourists. If a weekend is your only option, arrive before 10am and consider Universal Express.

Can you leave USS and come back on the same day?

No. A standard Universal Studios Singapore admission ticket is not valid for re-entry, so once you exit you cannot return that day. Bring everything you need, use the lockers inside the park, and save Sentosa's other attractions for after your visit or another day.

Dashain ra Tihar ma USS jana thik chha?

Yes, Universal Studios Singapore works well for a Dashain or Tihar holiday. Note that Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure is scheduled to be closed from 1 November 2026 to 31 July 2027, November to January are Singapore's wetter months, and Singapore's 2026 year-end school holiday runs from 21 November to 31 December.

Lights, Camera, Action!New York16 September to 8 November 2026
Treasure HuntersAncient Egypt12 October to 29 November 2026
Jurassic Park Rapids AdventureThe Lost World1 November 2026 to 31 July 2027

Sesame Street Spaghetti Space ChaseNew York10 to 23 November 2026
