Singapore & Malaysia Tour Packages

It depends on what you want after Singapore. The Malacca version adds a heritage day in a UNESCO-listed old town and suits a first trip of about a week. The Langkawi version adds an island stay for couples and families who want beach time. If you have ten days or more, Thailand or Bali can be added, and a cruise option visits Penang and Phuket from Singapore.

On most of these packages Singapore to Kuala Lumpur is done by coach. It is a long day of five to six hours with two immigration checkpoints, where you carry your own luggage through. Families with small children or elderly parents can ask us to replace the coach with a short flight. Langkawi, where included, is reached by a domestic flight from Kuala Lumpur.

A balanced plan gives Singapore two or three nights for the city, Gardens by the Bay and Sentosa Island, and Kuala Lumpur two or three nights including Batu Caves and Genting Highlands. Add two nights if you include Langkawi. Shoppers and families visiting theme parks often add a night in Singapore. Tell us your priorities and we will set the split.

Malacca is better for history and food, and works as a day trip from Kuala Lumpur, so it adds no hotel change. Langkawi is better for a relaxed island break, an island known for its beaches, cable car and mangrove boat trips, but it needs a flight and at least two nights. Couples and honeymooners usually prefer Langkawi. Families with elders who want an easy pace often choose Malacca.

Singapore and Kuala Lumpur are warm and humid all year, with short tropical showers in any month, so a city-focused trip works in every season, including Dashain and Tihar. Langkawi is the part that needs timing: its drier season runs roughly from November to April. Genting Highlands is noticeably cooler than the city, so pack a light jacket.
