A 5-day Singapore trip from Nepal costs about NRs 1,68,900 to 2,18,100 per person. That is our Singapore Family and Leisure Tour from NRs 77,000, a Kathmandu to Singapore return economy fare of about NRs 79,000 to 1,03,200, and NRs 12,900 to 37,900 of pocket money for meals, MRT rides and a SIM. Nepali passport holders do not need a Singapore visa for a holiday. A 7-day Singapore and Malaysia trip comes to about NRs 1,79,400 to 2,29,200 per person including the Malaysia e-Visa. That is only a little more than 5 days in Singapore, because Kuala Lumpur days cost less and the flight home from Kuala Lumpur balances out most of the extra days.
Prices checked: 1 Oct 2026. Package prices are Gomayu's live "from" prices on that date, per person, for a group of 3 to 7 travellers. Exchange rates used: Nepal Rastra Bank selling rate on 1 Oct 2026, 1 Singapore dollar (SGD, S$) = NRs 120.35, 1 Malaysian ringgit = NRs 37.68 and 1 US dollar = NRs 153.64. Flight fares change every day, so treat the flight ranges as a guide, not a quote.

Singapore trip cost from Nepal: the maths for 5 and 7 days
Every total below is built the same way: our land package, plus flights from Kathmandu, plus pocket money, plus the Malaysia e-Visa on the 7-day trip. The 7-day trip starts in Singapore and ends in Kuala Lumpur, so it uses an open-jaw ticket (into Singapore, home from Kuala Lumpur).
| Cost item (per person) | 5 days: Singapore | 7 days: Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Malacca |
|---|---|---|
| Land package (from price, 3 to 7 travellers) | NRs 77,000 | NRs 86,500 |
| Economy flight from Kathmandu | NRs 79,000 to 1,03,200 (return to Singapore) | NRs 67,800 to 91,100 (into Singapore, home from Kuala Lumpur, our estimate) |
| Singapore visa | Not needed for Nepali passports | Not needed for Nepali passports |
| Malaysia e-Visa, single entry, through Gomayu | Not needed | NRs 8,500 (not in the package price) |
| Pocket money: meals, water, rides, tourist SIM (and Malaysia tourism tax on the 7-day trip) | NRs 12,900 to 37,900 | NRs 16,600 to 43,100 |
| Total per person | About NRs 1,68,900 to 2,18,100 | About NRs 1,79,400 to 2,29,200 |
The low end assumes a cheaper fare and hawker-centre meals; the high end a fuller fare and more restaurant meals and taxis. Shopping and optional attractions are extra. On the 7-day trip, the Malaysia e-Visa is not in the package price: NRs 8,500 through Gomayu, all-in including VAT, on 1 Oct 2026. That covers the Malaysian government's visa fee plus the portal's processing charge and our service, and we confirm the rate when we file.
Cost table: what each part costs and what changes it
| Item | Typical cost | What affects it |
|---|---|---|
| Land package (hotels, transfers, sightseeing) | NRs 77,000 (5 days) to NRs 1,32,000 (11 days, three countries) per person | Singapore only or a combo, number of days, group size |
| Return flight Kathmandu to Singapore | About NRs 79,000 to 1,03,200 | Direct or one-stop, travel month, Dashain, Tihar and school holiday demand |
| Singapore entry | No visa for Nepali passports; SG Arrival Card has no fee on the official site | Entry is at the immigration officer's discretion |
| Meals not in the package | S$12 to 40 a day (NRs 1,444 to 4,814) | Hawker centres vs mall and hotel restaurants |
| MRT, bus or taxi rides | S$4 to 10 a day (NRs 481 to 1,204) | How much you go out on your own; taxis cost far more than the MRT |
| Tourist SIM (30 days) | S$12 to 15 (NRs 1,444 to 1,805) | City shops and the operator's own plans are cheaper than airport counters |
| Attraction tickets not in your quote | Universal Studios Singapore from S$83 (about NRs 9,989) per adult | Which attractions your tour covers; children under 4 do not need a USS ticket |
Singapore costs more per day than Malaysia or Thailand, mainly for food and taxis, so a combo with Kuala Lumpur often costs only a little more than a shorter Singapore-only trip.
What do Gomayu's Singapore tour packages cost?
Our Singapore packages start from NRs 77,000 per person for a 5-day Singapore trip. All prices below are land packages: hotels with breakfast, airport transfers and sightseeing in the itinerary. International flights are not included.
- Singapore Family and Leisure Tour: from NRs 77,000 per person, 5 days (city drive, Gardens by the Bay, Universal Studios Singapore, Sentosa)
- Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Langkawi Tour: from NRs 85,000 per person, 8 days
- Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Malacca Tour: from NRs 86,500 per person, 7 days
- Bali, Singapore and Malaysia Tour: from NRs 97,500 per person, 10 days
- Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia Tour: from NRs 1,01,000 per person, 10 days
- Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia Grand Tour: from NRs 1,32,000 per person, 11 days
The Singapore Family Tour with Kids (with the zoo and Night Safari) and the Royal Caribbean Cruise Tour from Singapore are priced on request for your dates and family. See them all on our Singapore packages page.
The "from" price is for a group of 3 to 7 travellers. Smaller and larger groups pay a different rate per person. Here is how it works on the Singapore Family and Leisure Tour:
| Group size | Price per person |
|---|---|
| 2 travellers | NRs 79,500 |
| 3 to 7 travellers | NRs 77,000 |
| 8 to 13 travellers | NRs 73,500 |
| 14 or more travellers | NRs 69,500 |
So a couple travelling alone pays NRs 2,500 more each than the headline price, and a large family or office group pays less. Ask us for child rates when you send your family's ages.
How much is a flight from Kathmandu to Singapore?
A return economy ticket from Kathmandu to Singapore costs about NRs 79,000 to 1,03,200 for most dates. On 1 Oct 2026, KAYAK's route page showed typical return fares of US$514 to 672, with the cheapest return fare found at US$441 (about NRs 67,800) on a one-stop IndiGo routing.
- Direct flights: Singapore Airlines flies non-stop from Kathmandu to Changi daily, in about 5 hours. It usually leaves Kathmandu late at night.
- One-stop options: via Delhi, Bangkok or Kuala Lumpur, with IndiGo, Air India, Thai Airways or Malaysia Airlines. They can cost less but take longer.
- Cheaper months: KAYAK's data shows January as the lowest-fare month on this route and May as the most expensive.
- New in 2027: Singapore's sustainable aviation fuel levy applies to tickets sold from 1 October 2026 for flights leaving Singapore from 1 January 2027. For an economy seat to South Asia it is S$2.80 (about NRs 337), and it is built into the fare.
On Singapore and Malaysia combos you fly into Singapore and home from Kuala Lumpur, with the coach between them included. We estimated that ticket as half a Singapore return plus half a Kuala Lumpur return (KAYAK's typical fares); we price the real fare on your dates. Seats for Dashain, Tihar and the winter school holidays sell first, so book early.
Do Nepali passport holders need a visa for Singapore?
No. On 1 Oct 2026, Nepal was not on the list of countries whose citizens need a visa for Singapore, according to Singapore's Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA, page updated 25 June 2026). Nepali passport holders can visit for up to 30 days per trip. The exact number of days is set by the immigration officer and confirmed on the electronic Visit Pass emailed to you after entry, so book your return within it.
- SG Arrival Card: every traveller, including children, must submit it on the ICA website or the MyICA app within 3 days before arrival. ICA states that there is no charge for submission, so do not pay any website that charges for it.
- Carry: a passport valid 6 months or more with 2 blank pages, your return or onward ticket, your hotel booking and proof of funds (bank statement, card or cash; no fixed amount).
- Boarding checks: since 30 January 2026, ICA can direct airlines not to board travellers it assesses as ineligible to enter, so have your documents in order before you leave Kathmandu.
If you add Malaysia, you need a Malaysia e-Visa before you travel and the MDAC arrival card within 3 days before entering Malaysia. Full process for both: Singapore visa for Nepali citizens and Malaysia visa for Nepali citizens.
How much pocket money do you need per day in Singapore?
Plan on S$19 to 60 per person per day (about NRs 2,286 to 7,222) on top of a Gomayu package. Hotels, breakfast, airport transfers and the sightseeing in your itinerary are already paid, so this covers the rest.
| Daily item | S$ | NRs (at 120.35) |
|---|---|---|
| Two simple meals (lunch and dinner) | 12 to 40 | 1,444 to 4,814 |
| Water, coffee and snacks | 3 to 10 | 361 to 1,204 |
| MRT, bus or taxi rides on your own | 4 to 10 | 481 to 1,204 |
| Per day | 19 to 60 | 2,286 to 7,222 |
| Tourist SIM, once per trip (30 days) | 12 to 15 | 1,444 to 1,805 |
Sources: Numbeo's Singapore prices (updated 25 Sep 2026) put an inexpensive restaurant meal at S$8 to 30, a public transport ticket at S$1.20 to 2.80 and a taxi start at S$4.30 to 6.00; the SIM price is StarHub's own tourist SIM plans (S$12 for the 4G plan, S$15 for 5G). On the 7-day combo we count 3 days at Singapore prices and 4 at Malaysia prices, plus a SIM for each country and 3 nights of tourism tax. Malaysia days use RM 45 to 120 a day (NRs 1,695 to 4,522), a RM 25 tourist SIM and the Malaysia tourism tax of RM 10 per room per night. More detail: Is Singapore expensive?

Is 1 lakh enough for a Singapore trip from Nepal?
No. The return fare from Kathmandu alone is about NRs 79,000 at typical prices, and even the cheapest one-stop fare we saw (about NRs 67,800) plus our 5-day package comes to about NRs 1,44,800 before you eat a meal. NRs 1 lakh is not a workable budget for Singapore with flights.
A realistic budget is NRs 1.7 to 2.2 lakh per person for 5 days in Singapore, or about NRs 1.8 to 2.3 lakh for 7 days with Malaysia. Expect the upper half if you travel at Dashain or Tihar or in the school holidays.
What is the price of a 7-day Singapore and Malaysia tour from Nepal, including flights?
A 7-day Singapore and Malaysia tour from Nepal including flights costs about NRs 1,79,400 to 2,29,200 per person on our Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Malacca Tour. The package is from NRs 86,500; the rest is the open-jaw flight (NRs 67,800 to 91,100), seven days of pocket money, SIM and tourism tax (NRs 16,600 to 43,100) and the Malaysia e-Visa (NRs 8,500), as shown in the first table. If you want a beach as well, the 8-day Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Langkawi Tour adds Langkawi and a domestic flight.

How can you spend less on a Singapore trip from Nepal?
- Travel as a group of 3 or more. On the Singapore Family and Leisure Tour the price drops from NRs 79,500 each for 2 people to NRs 69,500 each for 14 or more.
- Compare direct and one-stop fares. One-stop fares via Delhi or Kuala Lumpur can cost less.
- Eat at hawker centres. A plate of chicken rice or noodles at a hawker centre costs a fraction of a mall restaurant.
- Use the MRT, not taxis. Numbeo lists a single public transport ride at S$1.20 to 2.80, against a taxi start of S$4.30 or more before distance.
- Add Kuala Lumpur. Days in Malaysia cost less, so a combo stretches the same budget further. See how many days you need in Singapore.
What does the Gomayu price include and exclude?
On the Singapore Family and Leisure Tour, the price includes 4 nights in 3 or 4-star hotels with daily breakfast (double or twin sharing), airport pickup and drop-off in shared vehicles, and guided visits to the places in the itinerary: the city drive, Gardens by the Bay, a full day at Universal Studios Singapore and Sentosa. We confirm in your quote which attraction tickets are covered.
It excludes international flights, transport outside the itinerary, meals not listed (lunch and dinner), and personal expenses such as tips, shopping, laundry and activities not listed. Inclusions differ by tour, so check each tour page.
Flying from abroad? If you are a Nepali living in the Gulf, Malaysia, Japan, Korea or Australia, or visiting family in Singapore, your flight cost will differ from a Kathmandu fare, but the land package price stays the same; tell us your departure city.
